New luxury, corporate gift business launched

Gifting with ease: Miranda Conway, owner of Luxury Gifts Bermuda, has found success selling unique high-end gifts with bespoke service.

A new luxury personal shopping and gift business has opened, catering to busy executives and parents.Luxury Gifts Bermuda (LGB) is a new web-based e-commerce company offering bespoke personal and corporate gifting services.Customers can shop online or via consultation for high-end home fragrances, luxury spa products, linens and books to handbags, lingerie, crystal goods, food & drink and home decor. All the items are in stock, in Bermuda, and can be purchased, wrapped and delivered with same and next day delivery options.“Our clients like our services because they don’t have time to shop in town or even online,” said owner Miranda Conway, who specialises in working with those who are short on time to find the perfect gift for the hard to please.LGB, which opened in August, also has a retail office location in Hamilton for in-person gift consultation services. From corporate and house-warming presents to baby and wedding gifts, LGB stocks unique and high-end items.Last month, Mrs Conway launched the company’s online shopping function so clients can purchase items and have them arrive on their doorstep within a day.Several well-known brands are available, like Red Flower organic botanicals and the full retail line of the UK-based Aromatherapy Associates, which are pure essential oil products carried in hotels and spas around the world.Men aren’t left out either, LGB has exclusivity on the e-shave line, which are high-quality grooming products like luxury razors and badger brushes. Whiskey soapstone ‘ice’ cubes, wine nosing kits and Union Jack mugs are also on offer.LGB also carries baby brands like Aden & Anais along with Little Giraffe that have proven very popular.And, though the products are high end, items can be found for as little as $20.“We are here to help make all your gifting occasions most memorable no matter the size or budget,” said Mrs Conway.Though the company has only been open six months, business is going very well and customers have been responding positively, she said.“It’s been fantastic and a bit overwhelming,” she said. “People have been very receptive to what we’re doing. They’re pleased with the products we carry and the services we offer.
