Longtime Hamilton hair salon closing

Longtime Reid Street hair salon Eden is closing its doors later this month.
Owner of Eden Hair Face & Body, Valerie Nearon, blamed the poor economy, lack of tax relief from Government and the now scrapped term limits for her decision.
Ms Nearon, a sales associate with Rego Sotheby’s International Realty, declined to comment further on the closure of her small business.
The salon’s manager said there were six staff currently working at the salon, which she said will officially close on April 18.
Eden’s closure comes amid a slew of new hair, beauty and nail salon openings and expansions. They include Salon Pink, TK Hair, The Club at Fritholme Gardens, Orchid Nail Spa, and Polished Nail Bar.
