Design firms Cosmic Ltd and The Foundation have merged.

The joint firm will trade under the Cosmic banner, with The Foundation’s Craig Ferguson as web services director.

And Cosmic believes the combining of the two enterprises means it can offer a stronger online services presence by expanding its web design, development, hosting and management services.

Sean Collier, who founded Cosmic 14 years ago, said: “We’re thrilled to announce our merger with The Foundation.

Cosmic, which has won a string of island and international awards, is a major player in the design and marketing industry, with particular expertise in telecoms and the financial sector.

The Foundation is a specialist in web design and development, as well as print and online marketing services.

Mr Ferguson, who will work with Cosmic’s account and operations manager Krista Barnes, said: “Joining forces with Cosmic reflects how our market and clients’ needs are evolving.
