A marketing business that transforms design concepts into branded products, has found success, growth and some high-profile clients.

Brandit Bermuda Ltd was established six years ago by 35-year-old Jaime Ramsay, whose business stemmed from his support for Somerset Cricket Club in the annual Cup Match classic.

“I started to import items for St George’s and Somerset fans to represent their team,” he said.

Mr Ramsay was known to many people for this and his name and popularity quickly grew.

“I did extremely well with this and a friend of mine asked if I could help her with an event at the Charitable Trust. From there the business expanded,” he said.

The business aims to create customised personal and corporate promotional items for advertising, sales and that turning-point event.

Mr Ramsay designs and brands items such as customised tents, feather flags, and more.

“When a client has an idea for an event for their business, I take this and send the concept overseas to China. The company I work with in China will send samples back for the client to review. If happy, we will take their idea to fruition,” he added.

The original name of the business was called Glow, but was changed to Brandit in 2014 as a result of an exchange of ideas between Mr Ramsay and his brother.

Business quickly progressed and his clientele grew by word of mouth.

Mr Ramsay started to work with major clients such as One Communications, BGA, Pitt & Co, Bermuda Tourism Authority, Corporation of Hamilton, Burrows and Lightbourn, the Government of Bermuda, Bermuda Hero’s Weekend Ltd and Digicel.

“I respect all the clients I work with, for example, I work for Digicel and One Communications and keep their business separate — I pride myself on confidentiality,” Mr Ramsay said.

He also wanted to thank his clients for supporting him over the years.

“My clients all could have worked with anyone else but they trust me to deliver and I am grateful for them,” he added.

Mr Ramsay mentioned that he works with other organisations such as schools, charities and non-profits.

“Any charity or non-profit organisation receives 10 per cent off on services all year around,” he said.

Right now Brandit is offering a two-for-one special on table cloths.

When asked what makes his business stand out, Mr Ramsay replied: “To make my clients happy and making sure everything is top quality.

“In Bermuda, we are all about good quality and I make every effort to ensure my clients receive it.”

In the future, he plans to have a physical location for his business but for now is working from home.

Brandit operates on a 24-hour basis. For more information call: 595-7552, Facebook @ Brandit Bermuda Ltd or visit the website: http://www.branditbermuda.com
