Sarah Keeley has been appointed as a full-time Pilates instructor with Horizon Health.

Ms Keeley, originally from Canada, has been teaching in the health industry for more than 13 years.

She has been Stott Pilates certified since 2012 and has taught in China, Germany, India, Indonesia and Canada.

She has worked seasonally at various well-known centres such as Gokarna Yoga Garden and Granite Club from 2005 to 2016.

Horizon Health, based in Chancery Hall at 52 Reid Street, has appointed Ms Keeley to teach all clients on the Pilates reformer machines as well as all the other apparatus.

Caroline Tee, owner of Horizon Health, said: “Sarah is a well-informed teacher who uses her knowledge of the body to help clients become restored from injuries and also helps clients looking to become long and lean through fitness Pilates and reach their body goals.

“Sarah is a great addition to our team of instructors and combines her love for classical style knowledge and her Stott certification to give clients a complete body workout.

“Prior to Pilates, Sarah was deeply involved with yoga and spent eight years practising and teaching Ashtanga and aerial yoga until she found Pilates, which changed her life and perspective on stabilising the body.”

Ms Keeley is also Thai massage certified, nutrition and wellness certified, and personal trainer certified.
