P-Tech to move into new Reid Street home

New home: P-Tech is to move across the road into this premises at the corner of Reid Street and Queen Street

Consumer electronics store P-Tech is moving house, but they’re not going far.

On Monday they will open their doors across the street at 2 Reid Street, on the corner of Queen Street and Reid Street.

George Grundmuller, president and CEO of The Phoenix Stores Ltd said: “Near the end of last year, we leased the space located on the corners of Reid and Queen Streets, which proved an ideal, street-level location for The Annex Toys Pop-Up Shop during the holidays.

“As the dust of a busy holiday season settled, our team worked diligently to transform the space into one suited for the recognised product brands P-Tech customers have come to expect as Bermuda’s premier provider of consumer electronics.”

Todd Martin, general manager of P-Tech, said the store’s team was excited about the move.

“Customers can expect to be greeted by the same friendly faces they’ve become accustomed to, as all sales and support staff will transition to the new location to deliver the high level of service and competitive pricing desired,” Mr Martin said.

“Whether desktop computers, laptops, printers, tablets, smartphones, TVs, speakers, digital cameras, camcorders, or accessories, P-Tech has it at 2 Reid Street, Hamilton.”

Mr Grundmuller said the move meant P-Tech now had the opportunity to expand The Phoenix Centre to deliver new products, better service and enhanced value to the market in the coming months.

P-Tech opened in its previous space at 5 Reid Street, in 2006.
