Touchless water dispensers prove popular

A batch of touchless water dispensers have proved so popular that an initial order sold out within days.

The dispensers are able to supply cold, hot, ambient and sparkling water without the need for anything to be touched by the user.

Kevin Lanthier, general manager of ClearWater Systems BDA, said: “In an effort to accommodate Bermuda with quality filtration and dispensing products, ClearWater Systems BDA and our team are proud to deliver such an advanced product at a time Covid-19 best health practices are more critical than ever.

“With first installations initiated this month, our corporate customers have responded very favourably to the completely touchless water dispensers. From a health and safety perspective, it literally doesn’t get any better than this.”

The company has installed BluPura touchless water dispensing systems and BlueWater SuperiorOsmosis water makers in offices in Hamilton. It said the combination allowed companies “to improve their drinking water programmes, improve health and safety, save capital on drinking water expenses by eliminating the expense of bottle waters, improve carbon footprint by removing single use plastics from the office environment and promoting good health by offering high quality drinking products to their staff and guests alike”.

The first order of BluPura touchless water dispensers arrived from Italy this month and sold out in a couple of days, according to ClearWater Systems BDA. The company, which is situated on Harvey Road, Paget, said it has placed a new order for a variety of BluPura products to be sent to the island.
