Zyon Minors collects Polaris education award

Polaris Holding Company Ltd, parent company of Stevedoring Services Limited and East End Asphalt Company Limited, has named Zyon Minors as the recipient of a Polaris Holding Company Ltd Education Award.

Ms Minors is the daughter of Otis Minors, a foreman at Stevedoring Services Limited, and is attending the University of North Carolina, Greensboro, pursuing a bachelor of science degree in nursing.

The PHCLEA is designed to assist children of Polaris employees to further their education either in Bermuda or abroad.

The award of $2,500 is presented annually to children of employees and may be continued for up to four years.

Recipients are selected by members of the Polaris board’s Human Resources and Compensation Committee, which is assisted by company CEO Warren Jones.
