Instagram can be hard for entrepreneurs to crack, especially with frequent changes to the algorithm, but public relations guru Mikaela Ian Pearman believes she has the secret.

In three short months, the founder of Mikaela Ian PR grew her following from 9,000 to 56,000.

“They were all gained organically,” she said. “My account grew rapidly after I changed my content strategy last fall for my Built For Luxury brand.”

On Sunday, she will share her secrets in a workshop called Instagram Growth: Crafting Compelling Content for Audience Expansion. It is designed to help small businesses and aspiring content creators enhance their Instagram presence and strategically expand their audience.

“I am thrilled to share my journey and the strategies that contributed to the growth of my Instagram account,” Ms Pearman said.

“In a digital age, where a strong online presence is crucial, I believe these insights will be invaluable to businesses and content creators looking to thrive on Instagram. This workshop is an opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at my Instagram strategy, steal it and make it your own.”

She said it is all about good content.

“If you are consistently creating good content, you won’t have to worry about whether or not your audience will see it,” she said. “The algorithm is not going to push mediocre content because no one wants to see it. That is harsh, but true.”
