Everest Group, the Bermudian-based global reinsurance and insurance firm, has added Darryl Page, a veteran insurance executive, to its board of directors as an independent, non-executive member.

Mr Page brings more than 40 years of industry experience to the board, including more than a decade at Chubb, where he served as division president of international personal lines. In that role, he oversaw a multibillion-dollar portfolio spanning 52 countries and helped to expand Chubb’s footprint across Europe, Latin America and Asia. He also led the company’s agency distribution strategy for Chubb Overseas General and served as chief culture officer, promoting diverse leadership initiatives.

Before Chubb, Mr Page held senior roles at Fireman’s Fund Insurance, an Allianz company, and spent three decades with Allstate in various leadership positions across underwriting, product management and distribution.

“Darryl brings a wealth of experience successfully scaling profitable insurance businesses through complex markets globally,” said John Graf, the chairman of Everest. “His history of developing high-performing, accretive cultures will be invaluable as Everest executes on its value creation strategies.”

Mr Page serves on the board of Dominican University of California, where he is treasurer and chair-elect. He has a bachelor’s degree in economics from Santa Clara University.
