Hamilton Princess launches travel collection
The Hamilton Princess & Beach Club has teamed up with SteamLine Luggage, a luxury travel brand, and Riley Sheehey, an American artist, to launch a limited-edition travel collection inspired by Bermuda’s coastal charm and the hotel’s signature pink elegance.
Unveiled today, the exclusive collaboration pays tribute to the 140th anniversary of the iconic “Pink Palace” and Bermuda’s colourful scenery. The collection features SteamLine’s vintage-inspired design with Ms Sheehey’s hand-drawn illustrations of pastel cottages, palm trees, sailboats and the Hamilton Princess itself adorning the linings and accessories.
“I’ve always been enchanted by the Hamilton Princess, a pink dreamland floating in the Atlantic Ocean on beautiful Bermuda,” said Sara Banks, the founder of SteamLine. “We celebrated that magic by echoing the hotel’s signature pink exterior and teamed up with Riley Sheehey … A true keepsake for travellers and art lovers alike.”
Ms Sheehey, who previously served as artist in residence at the hotel, said the experience shaped her approach to this project. “My time at Hamilton Princess was incredibly formative,” she said. “Every corner sparked a new sense of wonder and bringing that to life in tandem with SteamLine has been such a full-circle moment."
The collection includes cosmetic cases, packing cubes, mini purse-style bags, vanity cases, large hatboxes and carry-on cases, all released in limited quantities.
“Art is a cornerstone of our identity at Hamilton Princess,” said Diarmaid O'Sullivan, the hotel’s director of sales and marketing. “This collaboration allows guests to take a piece of the hotel with them wherever they go. It’s a tribute to Bermuda’s splendour and the adventurous spirit that defines our heritage.”
