New hires to help BermudAir expand relationships

Leslie Peden, BermudAir senior vice-president of sales and distribution, said new business development directors will help the airline grow its network of routes (Photograph supplied)

To strengthen partnerships and relationships, BermudAir has hired business development directors Nicole Conrad and Ryan Lettow.

“This is a meaningful investment in the future of our indirect distribution channels and a clear signal of our commitment to our trade partners,” said Leslie Peden, senior vice-president of sales and distribution at BermudAir.

He said the expertise of the new appointees will be invaluable as the company grows its network of routes.

The airline aims to drive more business through travel advisers, host and consortia agencies, travel management companies and tour operators as they broaden their network and service offerings between the United States, Canada and Bermuda.

Ms Conrad will lead business development efforts across BermudAir’s corporate, TMC, and meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions segments.

She will also oversee the Canadian market, supporting route developments, such as the upcoming launch of a Montreal-Bermuda route on June 12.

BermudAir said Ms Conrad’s extensive experience in international business, most recently as director of conferences and events at the Bermuda Business Development Agency, will be instrumental in growing these high-potential segments.

Mr Lettow will be responsible for driving BermudAir’s leisure channels, with a strong focus on online travel agencies, tour operators and host and consortia agency partnerships.

The airline said he has a proven track record of delivering multimillion-dollar growth, most recently holding positions at Expedia, Flight Centre and Apple Leisure Group.

In celebration of Travel Adviser Appreciation Month, BermudAir is introducing travel adviser rates for personal travel at $50 round trip, plus applicable taxes and fees.

This special fare is available for bookings and travel now through June 30, across any of BermudAir’s 13 routes.
