Fidelis Insurance Group has promoted Hannah Greenwood to chief underwriting officer for its Bermuda operations.

Ms Greenwood joined the company in 2023 as chief of staff and has since worked closely with the executive team on major projects and strategic initiatives. In her new role, she will be responsible for guiding underwriting strategy, enhancing risk management and driving innovation in the Bermuda office.

“I am delighted to announce Hannah’s appointment to CUO for Bermuda,” said Allan Decleir, group chief financial officer and Bermuda chief executive. “Her promotion is a direct result of her outstanding business acumen, extensive industry expertise and the strong relationships she has built both within our organisation and across the industry.”

Ms Greenwood brings over a decade of industry experience, beginning her career at Lloyd’s of London before moving into energy broking and strategic roles at Ed and Ardonagh. She holds a BA in politics, philosophy and economics from the University of Durham, an MBA from Warwick Business School, and is Associateship of the Chartered Insurance Institute qualified.

As CUO, Ms Greenwood will oversee Fidelis Bermuda’s underwriting direction and play a key role in supporting the company’s broader strategic goals.
