Tech solutions firm Brava has joined forces with Hubbcat, a global provider of push-to-talk, body-worn camera and broadband connectivity equipment for customers including first responders.

Brava said this alliance represented a significant leap forward in delivering advanced, reliable and secure communication technology to businesses, emergency responders and critical industries across Bermuda and in other places.

“The partnership will empower industries such as security, hospitality, transportation, oil and gas, logistics, mining, energy, construction and public safety with seamless communications — no matter how remote the location,” Brava stated.

“This partnership aligns perfectly with our mission to support enterprise growth through smart, scalable technology,” said Conor McGowan Smyth, chief executive officer of Brava. “We are excited to roll this out across key markets to drive transformation where it is needed most.”

Hubbcat said its services, including LTE push-to-talk, body-worn cameras, real-time GPS tracking, lone worker safety features and encrypted team communications, as well as a host of other mission-critical features, were already tried, tested and trusted by industries throughout the Caribbean and Latin America.

Brava customers will now have access to these critical tools, with full regional support and localised deployment through the Brava network.

“Partnering with Brava allows us to expand our impact and deliver success for our customers,” said Alan Bates, Hubbcat founder and chief executive. “Hubbcat will continue to bring our solutions to new territories where reliable communication is not just a luxury, but a lifeline.”

This partnership is the latest step in Brava and Hubbcat’s innovation agenda to support the next generation of smart solutions within critical industries across Bermuda and the Caribbean.
