Everest Group Ltd has appointed Pamela Sinclair as executive vice-president and chief human resources officer, effective July 14. Ms Sinclair will report directly to Jim Williamson, the company’s president and chief executive, and will join the company’s executive leadership team.

She succeeds Gail Van Beveren, who is retiring after an “outstanding” 39-year career with Everest, having served as CHRO since 1986.

Ms Sinclair brings more than 30 years of international human resources leadership experience in the financial and insurance sectors. Most recently, she served as global head of human resources at PGIM, a global asset manager with $1.4 trillion in assets under management, where she led global talent acquisition, compensation strategy, leadership development and employee engagement.

“Pam is an exceptional HR leader with a track record of optimising and aligning human capital strategies with business objectives,” Mr Williamson said. “Her broad, global experience will be integral to supporting the world-class talent who drive Everest’s high-performing, people-first culture and deliver on our value-creation strategy.”

Before her role at PGIM, Ms Sinclair held senior human resources roles at PGIM Real Estate and Barclays, where she managed global HR functions during major merger and acquisition activity and served in both London and New York.

Ms Sinclair holds a bachelor of science in business from Greenwich University in London, graduating with honours.
