Summer student at LiveNet Communications
Desmond Crockwell has joined LiveNet Communications as part of the Bermuda Government student placement programme for the summer.
A LiveNet statement described the 18 year old as dynamic with a passion for business marketing and fresh ideas.
It said: “He is currently pursuing his studies at university in the United Kingdom and brings fresh insights and enthusiasm to the LiveNet marketing team.
“A former student of Somersfield Academy, Desmond has been deeply immersed in ethical marketing studies, as well as experience with social media marketing.
“His academic journey has equipped him with innovative techniques that he is eager to incorporate into LiveNet’s marketing initiatives. With a keen eye for strategy, social media and creativity, Desmond will undoubtedly make a significant impact during his time with the company.”
His primary role this summer will involve contributing to the annual LiveNet Square initiative, a commercial opportunity over Friday lunch time for local entertainment, and the spotlighting of LiveNet’s products and promotions.
The company said: “The first of this year’s LiveNet Square events is scheduled for Friday, July 4. Residents and visitors alike are invited to join us for a lively kickoff filled with music, fun, and community spirit.”
