LOM Financial Ltd has appointed Francesca Lines as a director, effective as of last week.

Ms Lines is from Bermuda and is now based in London, where she works on the property and casualty broking team at Acrisure Re. She specialises in structuring risk transfer solutions across a range of insurance classes and regularly collaborates with clients and key stakeholders in the global reinsurance market, according to a press release from LOM.

She began her career in Bermuda’s reinsurance sector, gaining experience in broking, client management and capital advisory. She holds a dual degree in economics and English literature from Boston College.

“Her range of experience and business knowledge will be a welcome addition to the company,” said Scott Lines, chairman and chief executive of LOM. “I am pleased to welcome Francesca to the team.”

LOM noted that Ms Lines brings a “fresh perspective” to the reinsurance space and its importance to the broader economies where the company operates.
