Sandys Parish Council is celebrating the launch of its new business website with a networking event at Cambridge Beaches Resort & Spa tomorrow.

The gathering is for Sandys entrepreneurs, small and medium-sized businesses and start-ups.

The new website is designed to be a central hub for events, scholarships, volunteer opportunities and a dedicated business directory promoting enterprises owned and operated by residents of Sandys.

Dawn Simmons, the chair of Sandys Parish Council, was excited to create a space where area business owners could connect and be celebrated.

“This event is about strengthening ties within our community while also launching a resource that will continue to support local businesses long after the night is over,” she said.

Clarence Hofheins, the general manager at Cambridge Beaches, was pleased to see the meeting happening at his hotel.

“Supporting local businesses is very important to us, and events like this shine a spotlight on the incredible talent and entrepreneurship within Sandys,” he said. “By working together with the parish council, we can showcase Sandys as not just a beautiful destination, but a thriving community full of opportunity.”

Light canapés and refreshments will be served, while attendees network with fellow business owners and learn more about how the new website will spotlight local enterprises.

The event is at the Shoreline Terrace at Cambridge Beaches Resort & Spa tomorrow from 6.30pm to 8.30pm
