Nitara Bento completes summer internship at iEPC

Nitara Bento interned this summer with the engineering services division of iEPC Ltd, a company providing multidiscipline services in the fields of civil, structural, mechanical and electrical engineering.

Ms Bento, in her third year at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, is studying construction management technologies.

She said she was excited about the opportunity to spend the summer working with iEPC because it offered an ideal work environment for her professional and personal development.

She said: “The team's multidisciplinary approach aligns perfectly with my diverse interests and career goals. I was eager to work under individuals who are highly skilled [and] value teamwork, encouragement and mentorship, and the experience definitely shaped me into a stronger, well-rounded student and professional.”

Managing director of ReGen, Azeem Khan, said: “The team were thankful for her valued contributions on several ongoing projects. I wish Nitara every success with her studies and look forward to her returning to Bermuda to help build a sustainable future for the island.”

The company provides engineering design services and operational and energy services including planning, construction management, cooling and energy efficiency optimisation.

Established in 2012, iEPC is a wholly-owned subsidiary of ReGen Group Ltd, which is owned by Liberty Group Ltd.
