Entrepreneurship week kicks off with community giveaway
The Bermuda Economic Development Corporation will launch Global Entrepreneurship Week Bermuda 2025 with a community giveaway at its Church Street headquarters tomorrow morning.
The drop-in event, running from 8:30am to 11:30am, will offer complimentary pastries, coffee and tea, along with a spin-the-wheel prize draw to thank the public for its support and build momentum ahead of a full week of GEW activities.
GEW Bermuda 2025 features a packed schedule aimed at informing and inspiring entrepreneurs at every stage. BEDC is partnering with local and international organisations to bring global and homegrown voices to the island, including Pinky Cole, founder and chief executive of Slutty Vegan, and Mack Wilds, actor and entrepreneur. Both will take part in headline sessions alongside Bermudian entrepreneurs sharing their own paths to building and scaling businesses.
GEW will also feature meetings with industry partners, international agencies and networking sessions focused on strengthening Bermuda’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
“Global Entrepreneurship Week is all about celebrating the spirit of innovation and encouraging people to explore what’s possible,” said Jamillah Lodge, BEDC’s communication and development director. “This community event is our way of connecting with the public, showing appreciation and inviting everyone to be part of an inspiring week dedicated to entrepreneurship in Bermuda.”
