Clarien Bank has promoted Qing “Judy” Lutkin to senior vice-president, head of investment management. The appointment takes effect immediately.

Ms Lutkin, who moved to Bermuda from Shanghai 18 years ago, has been with Clarien since 2015 and has played a central role in expanding the bank’s investment capabilities.

Her work includes leading the in-house transition of several Global Voyager Funds, strengthening investment governance and risk oversight, and helping to drive more consistent portfolio performance.

Miguel DaPonte, executive vice-president and chief wealth management officer, said her promotion reflects both long-term impact and day-to-day leadership.

“Judy has shown exceptional leadership and discipline,” he said. “She has consistently delivered results that reflect sound judgment, innovation and a client-first mindset. Her promotion is well earned and speaks to the confidence we have in her continued leadership.”

Ms Lutkin said she was honoured by the appointment.

In her new role, Ms Lutkin will oversee Clarien’s investment strategy across all client segments, lead market research and portfolio monitoring, and guide the bank’s investment committee.

She will also focus on technology-enabled processes, reporting and analytics to improve the client experience.
