Clarien boosts Meals on Wheels for 16th year
Clarien Bank has begun its annual Holiday GiveBack Campaign, a community-driven initiative that supports Meals on Wheels, a local charity dedicated to feeding those in need.
Over the past 16 years, the Holiday GiveBack campaign has raised more than $120,000 for Meals on Wheels.
“This has enabled the charity to not only continue delivering freshly prepared, nourishing meals for the elderly and sick, but to also provide an all-important check-in,” a Clarien spokesman said.
Jennifer Wild, Clarien Bank’s executive vice-president and chief administrative officer, was happy to be continuing the tradition.
“It is one of the many opportunities we get to contribute to a positive change in our community and support a cherished and essential service that benefits so many people in Bermuda,” she said.
From now until December 31, people can give through Clarien’s website by making a payment to the Holiday Giveback account for Meals on Wheels.
They can also donate $5 at Gibbons Company or the Gibbons Home Store on Gibbons Charity Day on December 17.
Customers can also make a quick deposit by visiting Clarien’s quick deposit outlet at Point House on Front Street, and use the Holiday GiveBack quick deposit envelopes.
