Toyota recognises Bermuda Motors for half-century service
Toyota Motor Corporation has recognised Bermuda Motors Ltd for 50 years of partnership and service, presenting it with a commemorative plaque.
The local company first launched the sale of Toyotas on the island in 1971, marking its entry into the local automotive market with the introduction of the Toyota Corolla. BML is one of the leading auto distributors on the island.
William Madeiros, managing director, said: “We are honoured to receive this commemorative plaque from Toyota. Our relationship with Toyota has been built on trust, shared values and a commitment to quality. We look forward to continuing this partnership for many years to come.”
Bermuda Motors said it remains committed to maintaining Toyota’s global standards by investing in continuing training and development. The company regularly sends its technicians to Toyota-led training courses, ensuring the highest levels of expertise, safety and service for customers.
