Bermuda College offers AI workshop
Administrative professionals will have an opportunity to learn how artificial intelligence can help reduce workloads and improve efficiency at work at an upcoming Bermuda College workshop.
The AI for Administrative Professionals Workshop will be held on April 21 from 12pm to 5pm with an introduction to practical AI tools that can support everyday administrative tasks.
The workshop will focus on how AI can be used to streamline workflows, assist with planning and communication and support event co-ordination and office management.
It will also involve a practical component where students will use AI tools during the workshop.
Tawana Flood, director of the college’s Athora Division of Professional and Career Education said: “As AI becomes more widely used across industries, learning how to use it effectively is becoming an increasingly important workplace skill.”
She said that for administrative professionals, the technology had the potential to ease some of the burden of repetitive tasks and create more time for work that requires judgment, organisation and strong interpersonal skills.
The course is intended for professionals who want a clearer understanding of how AI applies to their role and how it can be used in a practical and responsible way.
“AI is becoming an important part of today’s workforce and administrative professionals need the chance to understand how it can support the work they do,” Ms Flood said.
“This course is relevant because it gives people practical tools they can use straight away to work more efficiently, reduce pressure and strengthen their value in the workplace.”
The workshop is listed as AI for Administrative Professionals Workshop | TDS 1246. The cost is $195 and lunch is included.
