MJM Ltd has appointed Fozeia Rana-Fahy as managing partner.

Ms Rana-Fahy, who leads the firm’s dispute resolution team, “has made a significant contribution to the firm over many years through her leadership in complex litigation and contentious trust matters, her commitment to client relationships, and her active role in the continued development of the firm”, MJM said in a statement.

Ms Rana-Fahy is recognised as an industry leader in Chambers and Legal 500, is a regular speaker at industry conferences and chairs the Bermuda Business Development Agency trust law reform committee, which helps create legislative change in the private client field.

Her appointment marks an important step for the firm as it continues to build on its strong foundations and focus on the next phase of its development, MJM said.

Ms Rana-Fahy said: “It is a privilege to take on this role at such an exciting time for our firm. We have a strong team and a longstanding commitment to delivering high-quality legal work for our clients. I look forward to working with colleagues as we continue to build on the firm’s strengths.”

Jeremy Leese, on behalf of the partners at MJM, said: “Fozeia is a highly respected lawyer both locally and internationally, known as a trusted adviser who brings sound judgment and leadership.

“Fozeia’s appointment reflects her strong commitment to the firm and its clients, her proven track record in complex disputes, and her ability to help guide the firm through its next stage of development.”
