Conyers has appointed David Stubbs as head of listing services within its Bermuda corporate practice, as the firm looks to strengthen its capital markets and securities offering on the Bermuda Stock Exchange.

Mr Stubbs, a counsel in the firm’s Bermuda corporate team, advises issuers on a range of securities listings on the BSX, including international debt, equity, investment funds and insurance-linked securities.

His broader practice covers corporate and finance matters like bond issues, private placements, initial public offerings, mergers and acquisitions and restructurings.

The firm said the appointment reflects the firm’s investment in its listing and sponsor services, with Conyers Securities (Bermuda) Ltd acting as a premium listing sponsor on the BSX.
