Motorcycle rider Aeziah Divine produces best performance in UK
Aeziah Divine produced the best performance of his career in the R&G British Talent Cup.
The promising motorcycle racer started 21st on the grid and worked his way up to fourteenth on his debut at the Snetterton Circuit in Norwich before being awarded eleventh place when post-race penalties took effect.
Divine also finished tied for second in a 12 minute fitness assessment to gauge cardiovascular endurance, the highest fitness bracket for his age.
The 2025 National Junior Athlete Sponsorship Programme award recipient will now look to build on his most recent success when he returns to action at Brands Hatch in Kent next month.
If all goes accordingly the 15-year-old intends to continue training and preparing in Spain to help bridge the gap with his competitors and improve his racecraft in the lead up to his next event.
Divine, who races on high-performance 250cc motorcycles throughout Britain and Spain, made his debut in the R&G British Talent Cup last year and is a member of Fibre Tec Honda/MLav Racing.
Now in its seventh year, the R&G British Talent Cup features riders between the age of 14 and 17, and is contested at racetracks around the United Kingdom alongside the British Superbike Championship and MotoGP at the British GP.
