After a successful turnout last year, the organisers of Ultra Fan Zone will be bringing back the event for tomorrow’s Caribbean Cup football game.

And with a new sponsor on board, OffLevel BDA hopes to make the football fan experience at the Bermuda v French Guiana match even bigger and better.

“Last year we roared Bermuda to victory past Bahamas with over 200 supporters waving flags, singing chants and pumping air horns,” OffLevel BDA CEO Daniel Woods said.

He added that with Burrows Lightbourn now sponsoring the experience, “the hype and excitement of the event have evolved and promise not to disappoint”.

Mr Woods came up with the concept last year when Bermuda was in the qualifying stages of the World Cup.

“I have travelled to different sporting events around the world and at each event they have a different fan zone experience,” he said.

“I am an avid supporter of our Bermuda national football team and I wanted to create an exhilarating experience and atmosphere that brought us together to show national pride.”

Following its “outstanding success” last year, Ultra Fan Zone has been added to OffLevel BDA’s most popular events, which also include Heineken Wet and Wild, the Summer Raft Up, Bermuda Heroes Weekend and Off Level Games.

Tickets promise access to the pregame event at the National Stadium North Field Pavilion, which starts at 4pm and will feature DJs, noisemakers, a sign station, face painting, Xtreme sports activities, food and drinks, as well as giveaways and prizes. The match ticket is also included, along with reserved seating at the halfway line and an after-party ticket to Docksider Pub & Restaurant.

Ultra Fan Zone tickets cost $70 and are available at Docksider Pub & Restaurant and Sports Locker.
