No injuries in Court Street car fire

A car fire in Hamilton was extinguished by the Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service at about 4.45pm today.

Firefighters attended the incident at the junction of Court Street and Angle Street, with two trucks and eight personnel sent.

Spokesman Sergeant Delton White said the vehicle was reported to have “visible smoke and flames emitting from under the bonnet”.

Two firefighters quenched the flames, and the incident, in which no one was hurt, is now being investigated.
