Man, 54, denies sexually assaulting girl under 14
A 54-year-old man pleaded not guilty to two counts of sexually assaulting a girl aged under 14 in Magistrates' Court yesterday.
Senior magistrate Juan Wolffe released the defendant, from Warwick, on $5,000 bail and adjourned the case until March 30.
Neither the defendant nor the alleged victim can be named for legal reasons.
Mr Wolffe ordered the accused to have no contact with the alleged victim and to stay at least 100 yards away from the area where the incident was alleged to have happened in Devonshire on December 14.
