Bus service will be halted today between 10am and 1.30pm.

The Department of Public Transportation said the interruption would allow talks with drivers in expectation of schools reopening next month.

A spokesman said: “The temporary service interruption will facilitate a meeting for all bus operators regarding the transportation of students, under Ministry of Health Covid-19 guidelines, as schools are scheduled to reopen in September.

“The DPT thanks the public for their continuing support.”
