A man was yesterday charged in connection with a road accident that claimed the life of a nurse.

Norrell Hull, 46, was accused in Magistrates’ Court of causing the death of Tamra Broadley, 61, by driving without due care and attention.

The incident is alleged to have happened on September 9 last year on Berry Hill Road, Paget.

Mr Hull, from Southampton, did not enter a plea as the case must be heard in the Supreme Court.

Magistrate Maxanne Anderson adjourned the case until January 4 and released Mr Hull on $10,000 bail.

She also ordered him to surrender his passport.
