Some pupils at West Pembroke Primary School must go into quarantine after a risk assessment of the school, it was revealed tonight.

The P1 and P2 classes were ordered to isolate by the Chief Medical Officer.

Teachers involved with the classes must also go into quarantine.

A health ministry spokeswoman said a test session will be held at Perot Post Office tomorrow.

The clinic will be open between 12pm and 4pm and West Pembroke pupils and staff will be given priority.

The spokeswoman said that the pupils and staff must remain at home until December 18.

She added: “This also includes not attending birthday parties, extracurricular activities, social engagements, other places of employment, public places, public transport and grocery stores.”
