From noon until 1.30pm at Bermuda Chamber of Commerce, this lunch-and-learn session will teach attendees the fundamental concepts, terms and steps to comply with the anticipated anti-money laundering (AML) requirements. Key concepts to be covered include: the key functions of the designated compliance person; the functions of the regulator/supervisor; the components and impacts of an AML regulatory framework; the expectations surrounding risk assessments; the unique organisational characteristics which inform compliance programmes; and how to make policies and procedures pragmatic and relevant.
