It’s time to reduce Bermuda’s debt

Dear Sir,
We keep talking about our debt — $3.2 billion. Let us remind ourselves how we got here.
Between 1998 and 2012, the Progressive Labour Party created 1,000 jobs in government that we did not need to pacify their supporters.
Half of our government’s expenditures are salaries and benefits. Put a GoPro camera on every government worker during working hours to see what they do all day. It would be a comedy show for what they are paid.
Wake up, Bermuda, accountability in government before we end up like Jamaica and their $150 dollars to one US dollar because of fraud and corruption.
And we want to join Caricom. Most countries in Caricom are in poor shape financially.
