Perfect for an upcoming baby shower, the shop offers an extensive selection of pre-packaged gifts, including stuffed animals in every colour and variety with onesies, CD and finger puppet sets, stuffed animal and fleece blanket sets, Ganz personalised bibs with baby’s name, baby bathrobe and scrub brush sets, and giant letters for hanging on the wall.

One very unique item is the “Block To Grow On,” a ceramic block that allows you to record baby’s measurements and weights each month.

Also unique are the Stork Pins. Each enamel and metal pin features a different saying, such as, “It’s a girl due in May” in pink, “It’s a boy due in June” in blue, or “Expecting in July” in yellow. There are also expecting dad, mom and grandma pins, expecting twins, and “I am going to be a big brother” or “I am going to be a big sister” pins. The most novel, of course, is the red stop-sign shaped pin that says, “Thank you for not rubbing my belly.”

Truly unique is the Frog Pod by the innovative company, Boon. Shaped like a frog, this storage system hangs on the wall, either with adhesive strips, suction cups or screws, and allows you to store baby bath, shampoo and other products. The back of the frog, which has drainage holes cut out of the back in a fun pattern, is actually a scoop. Bath toys can be scooped out of the bath water and the scoop reattached to the frog, all while the water drains away.

There is also plenty of fun products for baby’s playtime, which is a vital time for child development. Fisher price swings and walkers are all available, as is the popular Evenflo ExerSaucer, and a variety of play yards, mobiles, soft toys and rattles.

Front and back carriers are also available, including the Pioneer baby back carrier by Tomy. What is unique about this carrier, which is designed for older babies and toddlers, is that it features a light-weight frame that can also be put down while baby still sits in it.

Particularly useful, especially for those with toddlers and babies, is the Caboose Stand-On Tandem stroller by Joovy. While baby sits in the front seat, or even in any infant carrier car seat attached with the universal clips, the older sibling can either stand on the rear platform, or sit on the padded rear seat. The stroller is lightweight, folds flat, and even features a large basket and storage pockets.
