TECHWEEK EVENTS

Techweek has been developed to demonstrate to the community at large, that Bermuda is a centre of excellence in technology and that technology is very much an integral part of life— "Everyday, Everywhere, Everyone".

The Business Technology Division Techshowcase will run in parallel with other Techweek activities and include the following events:

TECHSHOWCASE Monday, May 7, 2007 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. — Techshowcase is a trade show exhibition of technology companies, products and services. The business community and general public will be invited in to see how businesses across Bermuda are using technology, implementing IT to compete in the global market and provide a unique opportunity to speak one on one with industry professionals. WIRED WEDNESDAY

Wednesday, May 9 — 5.30 p.m.- 7.30 p.m. — The Business Technology Division will host this special Wired Wednesday and feature international guest speaker, Dr. James Martin, a visionary and guru of the Information Age. His speech will be a primer for the next day's activity. Wired Wednesdays are designed to bring the IT, E-Business and Telecommunications community together to network and discuss current and emerging issues and developments. Bermuda Chamber of Commerce.>

TECH SHOW

A juried show of digitally created art at the Bermuda Society Arts.

ANIMATIWORSHOP

Workshops will demonstrate the role that technology plays in animation and is geared for adults young and old.
