Ace girls!

Bermudian skipper Paula Lewin and her crew were not to be outdone on their home turf - or rather surf.

They emerged from a group of eight to win the inaugural Bermuda International Women's Match Racing Championship, beating Swede and top world women's match racer, Marie Bjorling, 2-0 in yesterday's final in Hamilton Harbour.

Lewin and company earned a berth in Round One of the Bermuda Gold Cup which starts today.

Clockwise (from top left) are Paula Lewin, Lisa Neasham, Christine Patton, Carola Cooper and Peta Lewin.
