Molly turns to her childhood journals for her second book
A BERMUDA resident has converted childhood journals into her second nostalgic book.
Molly Critchley (pictured right) said her latest publication, Childhood Then, was about growing up "before computers and video games".
Mrs. Critchley, widow of the late David Critchley, said: "I started to keep journals 35 years ago and I came across old scribblers when I was cleaning out a closet.
"I found notes about different incidents when I was young and I thought I would put them together for my children with illustrations. And over the last few years I've been working on it."
The 63-page book is based on Mrs. Critchley's upbringing in Nova Scotia, Canada, and includes dozens of colour illustrations.
Her first book, Victorian Christmas in Nova Scotia, was a best seller.
Childhood Then is on sale at the Bermuda Bookstore on Queen Street in Hamilton.
