Dear Sir,

Pride, Bermuda has been selected as this year's recipient of the Esso Bermuda "Help us to help" campaign.

In this campaign, Esso selects a charity to receive five cents on every gallon of gas sold by all Esso gas stations during the month of December.

Last year Esso Bermuda donated a little under $20,000 to the charity selected through this campaign.

We are excited and honoured to be selected as the 2001 recipient and we encourage everyone in Bermuda to support our endeavours by buying gas for all of their cars, bikes, boats, etc. from Esso during the month of December.

We would also appreciate it if you could encourage, by phone or e-mail, all of your family members, friends, and co-workers to support the Pride/Esso campaign by doing the same.

In an endeavour to get the word out we would like to display the Pride/Esso Campaign poster in as many locations as possible.

If you can display a poster in your company, please call the Pride office at 295-2460 or 295-9970 and request a poster.

We also encourage every household in Bermuda to take out a Pride Family Membership and receive our monthly newsletter and personal invitations to our conferences, forums, video-based 'Parent to parent' training held at companies, churches, schools or wherever we are invited, our 45-minute lunchtime mini-forums and several other activities held during the year geared to empower both parents, interested adults and young people with the tools needed to take a stand!

I need not tell you how desperately we need your help in fighting the scourge of drugs on our island!

We believe that as a community we must acknowledge that we have a serious problem and we must become actively involved in whatever way possible to take a stand to rid our island of the drug menace and safeguard our children who are our future!
