Election coverage should be equal

I write with disbelief at having to hear for the fourth straight day, (Jan. 25-28) a story that was run on the ZBM news. Granted it was an interesting piece regarding the media and political relationship dynamics by Jamal Simmons. However is it necessary to drill it in our heads, or could it possibly be that this particular news media is advocating a certain candidate? Come on folks let's play fair in equitable reporting of both candidates in the West Pembroke by election.

Dear Sir,

I write with disbelief at having to hear for the fourth straight day, (Jan. 25-28) a story that was run on the ZBM news. Granted it was an interesting piece regarding the media and political relationship dynamics by Jamal Simmons.

However is it necessary to drill it in our heads, or could it possibly be that this particular news media is advocating a certain candidate? Come on folks let's play fair in equitable reporting of both candidates in the West Pembroke by election.

If I can recall correctly in the 1980 and 1984 presidential elections in the United States, former President Reagan's previous movies were banned from the airwaves during campaign time due to an unfair advantage of more airtime for him.

I know this is not the USA but fair play is a universal trait.

You think we could practice that policy here?

Media coverage should be equal to both candidates. Mr. Carvel VanPutten and Mr. Jamal Simmons are both candidates, not just the latter.

EQUALITY SHOULD BE THE NAME OF THE GAME
