Re: Erwin D. Whitter

Dear Sir,

We had a very pleasant experience visiting Bermuda in May. At St. George's, we hired Erwin D. Whitter to give us a tour of your beautiful Island.

On returning to our ship, my daughter discovered that she had lost some money. This was rather discouraging for her, but a delicious dinner on the ship refreshed her spirits.

The following day upon leaving the ship, Mr. Whitter met us at the dock and asked us if we had lost some money. Mr. Whitter returned the money to my daughter.

I really cannot express how impressed we were with Mr. Whitter's honesty and by the fact that he had waited over an hour for us to leave the ship the next morning.

Congratulations on having such a fine representative of a Bermudian in your tourist department.
