Dear Sir,

In response to your letter dated December 7, written by D. Mark Selley, is it really necessary to bring up someone's past actions? Surely we can agree that Mr. Commissiong has paid for his past actions and is now an upstanding citizen. I truly hope that you'll never be judged on your negative actions. Fortunately all of us have been given another chance to prove our self worth.

I congratulate Mr. Commissiong for having the foresight to change his life around and become a positive, contributing member of society.

So lighten up!
