It is clear to me that the Governor and the Deputy Governor have been sent here with instructions to frighten Bermudians into Independence. That being the case we should do our best to ignore their overstatements. But...The Chief Justice supervises the bench in general. Right now many of us recognise that the bench is a shambles. We need the best new Chief Justice we can find and that is clearly Richard Ground. Politicians have no place in the decision.
