As a concerned football fan and observer, I am submitting the attached information that I feel needs to be brought to the attention of the public.

While the public is being told that no decision has been made on Clyde Best, it is obvious that behind the scenes decisions are being made to proceed with alternate plans despite the success Bermuda is having in the World Cup and at the under-15 level (and previous levels also).

Clyde Best's record has been great, the senior team crushed BVI and the under-15 team beat Caymans convincingly. Clyde obviously has an eye for football and the requisite coaching ability/talent as he has selected coaches such as Robert Calderon, Dennis Brown, Mark Trott and Kenny Thompson who have all done a tremendous job. The results speak for themselves.

So why would the BFA want to destroy all of this by getting rid of Clyde Best? -- makes no sense to me or any other rational thinking person. Personally, I hope the Government steps in and remedies what is clearly a `witch hunt'.

A penny for your thoughts! How does a winning technical director get fired when his staff coaches are clearly getting good results? Smells fishy to me!! -- A CONCERNED FOOTBALL FAN SOCCER SOC
