Following an article in yesterday's paper about Validus and its attempted takeover of IPC Holdings Ltd., we have been asked to point out that RiskMetrics Group, a proxy and corporate governance advisory firm, did not recommend Validus' offer, but recommended IPC shareholders to execute Validus' requisition card to call a special meeting.
