In February 23 The Royal Gazette reported that vets and dentists will no longer be exempt for jury duty.

This was incorrect. It was in the amendment to the Act before the House but was removed in the Committee stage before the Bill was passed.

A story in yesterday's paper stated that Bryan Sims, a British man who was imprisoned for eight years of importing $97,000 worth of heroin, was arrested on the boat Miss Wendy, which he said was a crack den.

Prosecution had also stated that Sims told Police he had been smoking crack on the boat.

We would like to clarify that Sims' defence lawyer stated in court that her client never accepted these comments attributed to him by the Police. We apologise for any confusion this may have caused.
