Due to an editing error, a headline in yesterday’s edition wrongly stated: “Robbery charge dropped after complainant withdraws statment.”

In fact, as the story correctly reported, the charges dropped against Derek Spalding were charges of aggravated burglary, wilful damage and causing grievous bodily harm with intent to do so.
