Yesterday The Royal Gazette reported that Minister of Environment, Youth and Sport Glenn Blakeney's son Jahmel Blakeney was arrested and charged in connection with a Southside shooting last year.

That is incorrect. He has never been charged. Jahmel Blakeney was arrested in connection with the November 13 shooting of Shaki Minors, 26, and Renee Kuchler, 24, and he was released on bail.
