LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Keep the Corporations
April 15, 2010
Dear Sir,
I wish to add my voice to that of many Bermudians who are horrified at the thought of the fiscally irresponsible Government wanting to take over the Corporations of Hamilton and St. George's. Two organisations that are fiscally responsible and run their organisations well. This take over must not be allowed to happen, and I hope many will join me in the protest. Not just agree with me and then keep quiet about it.

We're at a pivotal stage
March 27, 2010
Dear Sir,
Cowardice has many faces. Fear is the main nucleus which gets faceted into. Betrayal, dishonour, and protectionism. We saw all three in the Second World War with the Jews and the Hitler regime, and the horrors it brought. Yet we saw unbelievable bravery, the opposite to cowardice.
Today in Bermuda, to see so many PLP members selling their souls for one or the other of the above, is sickening. "What's in it for me?" is the banner that some of the the PLP members hold high in their ranks. Not to necessarily leave the party, but to stand up and be counted and to say "Enough is Enough" would be a start, but to stay silent when they know their leader is ruining this beautiful little Island is shameful and cowardly and one day they will have to face their children, when they ask them, "Why ? Why did you remain silent?" There are many loyal PLP members, who must be disgusted at their leader, they have a responsibility to make their voices heard, now.
This Island is at a pivotal stage today. We must overcome this evil that is in our midst, with courage, passion and detirmination, to rid this Island, before it is too late, of the insidious corruption that dwells within. To bring this Island back to what it used to be and the Island that we loved and were so proud to be part of, Bermudians. It is not too late, there is an emotional stirring in the community of dicontent we should harness that and encourage the feeling that is rising, and never forget, The Power of The People.

On the brink of anarchy
May 6, 2010
Dear Sir,
I respond to your headline "Man Shot Dead At Mob Attack House" reported in today's Royal Gazette.
Decades ago I actively joined the campaign spearheaded by the PLP, Amnesty International and other social activists to remove the death penalty. Times have changed dramatically in Bermuda since then. A small part of our society has become so depraved that I now believe the reintroduction of the death penalty is something worth discussing.
We are at the beginning stages of anarchy. The sentences for violent crime and sexual exploitation are not long enough. And why weren't there undercover Police stationed by and near the property of Midlands Heights Crescent, during and for a period after, the trial of the defendants accused of attacking Mr. Furbert?
